Who we are.
Our foundation aims to provide comprehensive and personalized assistance to members of the community who find themselves in a situation of vulnerability and defenselessness. By means of different actions, Ahava Foundation strives to address the problems each family is undergoing, facilitating the social inclusion and enhancing the quality of life of all its beneficiaries.
Our community kitchen
Our institution has a community kitchen prepared to accommodate and serve anyone who needs a meal on a daily basis. But, above all, it offers a warm atmosphere which encourages bonding, thus alleviating both hunger and social isolation. In addition, we make sure that those who are unable to attend our community kitchen due to physical problems are delivered a packed meal, reinforcing of our strong social commitment.

Description and extent of our social programs.
Daily activities
Community kitchen
Approximately 70 to100 people attend our community kitchen for lunch, and around 30 are served an evening meal. On a daily basis, 15 packed lunches are distributed to beneficiaries who are physically unable to attend our center.
Monthly activities
Distribution of medicines
Every month, 60 people are given medicines.
Birthday celebrations
Each month we host a birthday celebration for all beneficiaries born within that month. They receive a birthday present from our institution and a special lunch is served for everyone invited to the event.
Housing
From the standpoint of housing assistance, we are currently providing financial support to 18 people who would otherwise be homeless and living in the streets, by helping them with rent payments for hotel rooms.
Social assistance
In total, our institution has listed 250 people receiving financial, social, psychological or spiritual support, depending on their specific needs.
Special giveaways
Twice a year, 250 families are given food packs to prepare a decent festive celebration.
